Hehe lol...

This is a very good song. The guitar souded bad though, just the sound of it...

The middle part was quite catchy. The only thing that i didn't enjoy about it is the bass drum... there's something about the 1-2 1-2-3 thing that i just don't like for some reason...

The rest was good. There are some minor volume level things that i would change like the snare drums are not loud enough and the bassline too.

I still enjoyed listening to this song and i wish you best of luck with the contest.

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Thanks alot man, Its all good advice. I would change alot if I spent more than an hour on it..hahaha.good luck to you too. Thanks for the cool review!\m/

Almost got fooled here...

I thought that the whole song would just be the one guitar playing on it's own, wich was a bit too long, could have been cut in half and jump straight to the good part lol.

The drums fit much better in this one compared to the other i reviewed "Tank world".

This rocks, alot, but a bit too repetitive. All in all it was pretty ok. Good luck with the contest.

darkkloud responds:

well, i thank you for the kind words and the insight.

Well now...

This is a great nice song from beginning to end... too short though :( but i know that you need to keep it short for the contest.

I really liked the xylophone, it added some diversity and was really nice lol.

There's not much to say here as you know what you are doing and are damn good at it.

Excellent work and best of luck for the contest.

Arbiter responds:

Heh, Thanks Leo, It's much apprieciated

Pretty nice!

This song is very good. You know how to build a great atmosphere, ended so suddenly and kinda surprised me a little.

Some percussions were a little too loud in this piece. The rest wall all good. I really liked this one.

This, i believe, would be a great theme for some "prepare to war" scene or something.

Good job on this song, good luck with the contest.

Syntrus responds:

thank you

Hmm... classical?

To me this doesn't really sound like a classical song, it's good though, maybe ambient or something? Meh...

As stated before, the lead could use a little more variation. Maybe the strings could be a tiny bit louder so that they can be heard better while the lead plays.

The percussion aspect was good. The song took a little too long to start though, maybe the intro shoulb be shorter...

Anyways good job on this song. Good luck with the contest.

Syntrus responds:

Thx man. I ussually make electronic music so u know this one was experimental for me.

Haha great!

This is pretty good. I like the percussions in the beginning and the small tempo change in the middle.

I can't say why but this sounded so "final-fantasy-ish" the old ones though, like ff6 or something. I could really see kefka dance on this little song.

Can't think of anything that i didn't like or would have done differently. Volume levels are top notch.

Good luck for the contest :D

WinTang responds:

Haha yeah but you're General Leo, you're bound to see FF6 references everywhere :)
Glad you liked it dude!

Muhahahaha! Great work!

This is an excellent piece of work you did right here. I love the organ melodies and the choir sounds damn good.

The drums were very simple but quite effective. The thunder was a nice touch... now i understand why the thread lol.

This, in my opinion, has a very "manga" feel to it. A good theme for the bad guy hehe.

The only thing i'd add in this piece is a few cymbals here and there, not loud though, just like some little background crash or something.

Nice work Grumblduke, you are getting very good at this, so don't stop :)

5/5

Grumbleduke responds:

Hooray for GarageBand choir!

This music was inspired by the villain from Super Retarded Dog, who is my exact intrpretation of the cliché melodramatic evil villain, and tried to convey it in this music how gloriously cheesy he is. It's also the theme tune for a D&D villain of mine, Andronius Finster; also very cheesy and over the top, billowing cape and all.

Ahh good old FF3...

The beginning was weird i didn't knew where you were going with this. After 15 secs or so in the song it got alot better.

I don't have alot to say about this piece as it is not amongst my favourites from this game. You did quite a good remake of it with just a guitar. And yes it would be 10 times better if the recording would be of better quality but i can still enjoy the song.

Nicely done good sir.

WinTang responds:

Thank you! Yeah, I've always loved this tune in the game, I prefer this over Celes' theme any day :)

Definitely one of it's kind.

I really liked the melody of this track, sounded a little wierd but it was very fun to listen to. I think that you should add more to your drums though... alot more.

This is quite a catchy song and i enjoyed listening to it :)

The song lacks some good elements but it holds it's own. 4/5

Noe3 responds:

To be honest I dont think I had more than 1 FX in this, which isnt very good, probably should have put some compressors on the kicks, and probably more EQ on the main themes, but I'm still learning so I'll just keep trying.

Interesting song.

The beginning was kind of slow but then it had a good beat to it. The song and it's concept are good. What is hurting you is the volume levels, like the drums... a little too loud in my opinion.

Also i think that some of the instrument choices in there weren't the best. Like the bass for exemple, i would have gone for something different with the bass sample, but i guess it's all a matter of taste really.

The sound effects were nice and the melody too. Good work on this song.

pitbulljones responds:

thanks for your review. i was using my new mastering limiter on this track so i was just getting used to how much level you can get out of it. a lot it seems lol. all your comments are taken onborad and again thanks.

Hi, i make music as a hobby. From time to time i should upload a song. The best way to support me is to buy my music on bandcamp, it would really make my day. Share your art, take care, see you later.
