[Sonic 3 - Act 2 Boss Battle]

Well i'm not a big sonic fan...

I'v played this game maybe 3 or 4 times tops in my life, i've always been a nintendo guy myself :D until playstation arrived.

Anyways, i like this song, i don't have really much to say about it. I like it's melody and i like the fact that you managed to have this song loop almost prefectly.

It sure shows that sonic is very popular if i look at the number of downloads that you got in such a short amount of time.

Nice remix and also a big lol at the other reviewer with his "Ash and Pikachu's voices in just the right places". It had me laughing for a while :D

I was surprised at the popularity too; my main reason for this was because (much like the Landing) there was no "straight" version of this song, and it is one of my favourite pieces of sonic music from all the games. Poor guy was always overshadowed by the other games like Mario and Final Fantasy; he needs credit goddammit!

I'm pretty sure the previous review is just a mix up. Oh well.

Nice song!

I really like those strings! The beat is good too and i like the part where it changed to like "slow motion".

Your "bell" pattern i think could have been a little longer and a little more varied. The "beep" sound reminded me of someone getting and operation :D

All in all you did a great job on this track, keep it up!

This is good...

but it is a bit too repetitive to my taste.

I like the small changes that you make to your beat along the song.It would have been good if your piano didn't follow the bassline and played an entirely different melody to accompany the other instruments.

But all in all, i think that this is a good song. Keep up the good work.

About the feedback : My stuff is often repetitive, it my big problem. It's often because I don't know what to add or change. I'll try redoing the piano part, if I get round to it.

Very catchy song!

Well at first, i thought this was going to be a typical "first song". But damn, compared to my first track, wich isn't here by the way so don't look for it :D, this is very good!

The intro scared me a little cause i thought that the hole song was going to be this way but to my surprise it turned out to be an awesome song.

Nice use of the orchestral hits. Nice song all around i must say. The only thig that i can recommend to you is to use different drum samples maybe, cause they sound a little bad in my opinion. Especially that clap, but i can't stand claps anyways so that's maybe why :D

Well if you are planing on making more tracks, and i sure recomend that you do, well you are going to gain lots of experience by making lots of tracks and by the looks of this, you will make kick ass songs.

So keep at it man, you are doing good so far!

I like the many transition effects that you are making throughout the song but especially towards the beginning.

I like the way the song evolves, nice usage loops i should say :D Keep up the good work.

Well look at you...

You've become quite the mister popular. I see alot of gold and it ain't no fool's gold i can tell you that.

All the reviewing you are doing and all the hard work on your music is really paying off isn't it?
Well congratulations on all the good things that are and that will be coming your way.

Now onto the song. It's great XD You tricked me though, with the intro you had and with the title and the description i was expecting something with a little less beat.

At first i saw exactly what you had described "Standing around the dead, the moon, his only source of light, showing him the destruction" but then there was still more destruction to come because the final battle was about to begin - insert big story here -

The only thing that i didn't enjoy as much as the rest of the song is the snare drums. They seem to playing on a too high note. I hope you'll know what i mean. They sound kinda like claps and kinda like drums.

You sure are becoming something big out here on the AP, keep it up :D

[FF8 - The Landing]

Very well executed.

Hey, long time no see, how's everything going for you?
Still working at that same place R18? I'm glad to see that you are still finding time to submit music.

This is actually my favorite piece in all of the FF8 music. It is very well done. I noticed that you didn't put the original intro i'm assuming as to keep the song as a loop. I like your choice of instruments although i would've really liked to hear a flute play a bit of the main melody. If there is well then nevermind, my mistake.

The sound of the cymbals got a bit annoying in the part where they play almost every second but other than that the rest is fine.

Good job on this track and i hope to hear some of your original compositions again/soon/someday :D

Hah, I could say the same about you! Where have YOU been ;) ? As for R18, that's a video classification in England, that's basically XXX material that only licenced adult shops can sell it (I know it sucks). But yes I am.
You can thank MaestroSorrow for this one, it was his request. I did leave the intro out so it could loop, yes, and there is a flute line, but it is easily overpowered by the strings and brass that this piece needs for the energy you get from big loud instruments!

Do more music for me too, General!

Great track. That piano reminds me of my track "Melody of the Past" simply because it's in the same pattern more or so.

You have those little sounds playing in the background that should be a little louder. Other than that, everything is good.

This will be playing at my funeral, yea that's just how sad it is :D

You're becoming greater and greater with each track. You really have it, i mean, music is in you. So don't let it out.

Nice song!

I like this very much. The guitar is awesome. The only thing i didn't like was the beat. Not that it's bad but too repetitive. Other than that, great work. You get my 5.
