Good remake of your original.

Hmm let me see... higher tempo, higher pitch, different symbals? Loops better then the first one, yes now it sounds more of a boss loop, but still an act of courage or hero's theme to me, because of the constant ascension (spelling?) of the melody.

The song simply sound so full of positive energy.
I personnaly think that a boss song needs some negative and positive "riffs". Parts where you know how evil your enemy is and were he pulls off a god damn huge attack. And parts where you know that you can still see the end of this, that the enemy is not undefeatable.

I'm not taking anything away from you and your music. I love this song. This version is better for sure.

I vote you a big 5 and i hope you will be continuing the great work.

Grumbleduke responds:

I changed absolutely nothing about it except re-encode it with a different program, and that's how it came out, which is what it should have sounded like. Same with all the other re-hashes. Amazing what a difference using another program makes though.

Excellent piece of work!

I like the nice intro you have here. You have some kind of heartbeat sound in the background wich i like very much.

The main part is also very good. I like the flute, the "soldier" kind of snares.

A very quiet, peaceful conclusion to this great work. I like the intonation of the bell you used, but i don't like that bell sound in particular. To me, it doesn't sound good or real.

So what story does it tell me? I'll try and keep it short.

She asks for deliverance. But he can't do it, he doesn't have the courage to do it. She is suffering, she is dying, but he loves her and won't let her go. She keeps telling him that it's for the best, that it is the only way. He has no choice, if he loves her, he must set her free.

He grabs his sword, musters "I love you", and makes sure she doesn't suffer anymore. A tear runs down his face. Anger flows through his body, he lets go a scream that seems eternal.

He runs towards his destiny, slaying all who stands in his path. All he sees his the face of the one who cursed his beloved. He finally gets to that tower, where his lover's murderer stands. The great battle begins. They are both incredible fighters. They are almost equal in skills. But the evil one his stronger and faster, and our hero gets wounded very badly.

In a final desperate act, our hero summons his greatest attack. Slashing trough his enemy like if he was nothing. The evil murderer realises that you can never underestimate the power of man. But it is too late, as blood seems to be gushing out from everywhere out of his body.

The hero falls to his knees, victorious. But the wounds are too big to be healed. But he doesn't mind. He got his revenge. As he slowly dies he tells himself "I did it, I have avenged you, I will see you soon my love."

Lol, i feel kinda of awkward, story telling is not something i'm good at. Hope you didn't fall asleep reading all that crap :D

MaestroSorrow responds:

not at all Leo, you too have seen a wonderful, grand tale.

I greatly appreciate knowing what you think, many thanks.

Thanks for telling me bout that bell, i'll have to look into that.

Great song!

Never a Farewell... this sounds like a farewell song to me :) sorry :)

I love those strings, just beautiful. This is a great piece of work. Simply stunning. Amazing!

Keep it up!

Grumbleduke responds:

You probably wouldn't have guessed, but this is also related to Wild and Dangerous. That film was set in the 17th century with big skirts and wigs. Spot the money shot if you can :P.

No need to be sorry, it just means you are thinking on the same wavelength; it means "you didn't say goodbye" in a way. Thank you again for your review.

I'm surprised.

Nice track, i like the beat, it's quite catchy. Judging by the title, Entrance and Seduce, is this in any way related to your work or to Wild and Dangerous?

Not your best but still good, keep it up!

Grumbleduke responds:

Erm, yep. Two dancers in cages accompany this music. I didn't take me that long to write, I just needed a catchy tune to go over the top of the film. And it seems you can tell ;).

Great song.

I love the intro. The trumpets melodies are great. I am somewhat left speechless by you and your great music. Also, volume levels are prefect. I like all the parts that switch the song on a different "angle". Great composition on your part.

Do you use Finale? Cause your music sounds like midis converted to mp3. It's not that i really care for the quality, Finale has some good sounds just like any other program out there, it's just that i'm curious.

Great song! Keep it up.

Grumbleduke responds:

Actually, this one was done on Cakewalk Pro Audio 9 for my A-levels; the song is quite old, but I encoded it to mp3 recently. I have used Garageband for some later compositions.

Lol, you are too melodic for porn :D

Porn music has to be cheesier and has much worse instruments. Porn music is much more repetitive than this. No i don't know anything about porn lol but i know about porn music :D

Good song by the way.

Grumbleduke responds:

You seem to misunderstand. Perhaps take a look at my profile at my job. Who said porn music has to be poor? Don't know how you can say it's not repetitive, it's the same lick over again. It actually IS a porn intro as well.

For those of you who dispute the origins of this music, I wrote this for the film "Caged". You'll see this film exists if you look for it (I can't tell you where or I'll get in trouble I imagine). English people can find it in good licenced R18 adult retail stockists, that's as far as I'll go, and have probably said a bit much.

Excellent!

This is an amazing collab. Congrats to you and to MaestroSorrow on this amazing piece of work.

The voices do sound a bit weird. But are still ok, they jsut feel a little awkward. Maybe if they were more voices and that they were regualrised they wouldn't feel weird, well to me anyway, it's just a matter of taste.

The rest of the song is mind blowing! The piano is superb, so is the beat and everything else.

Great work, i hope your next collab turns out as good as this one if not better.

MilkMan-Dan responds:

Ahhh yes... the voices... well... my voice anyways. I guess I'm gunna hafta officially release a version without em. No problem... that's what reviews are for. I really like the beat myself... when I went to Maestro with it... we immediatley decided that that's what our Collab would be. :)... Good choice I guess. Thanks very much.

A new hope indeed.

That's exactly what i see when i hear this song.
I really like how you introduced your drums in this song. All the melodies fit well together. Nice pad usage as well. I would have added some nice strings all throughout the song maybe? It's just a thought.

Nonetheless, good job on this song.

johnfn responds:

Man, you're on a reviewing rampage :)

Thanks. Actually that little drum roll thing was a little to loud (I change the volume of the drums after it, its supposed to be quieter) but I guess I got lucky :D

Strings, thats genuis.. dang. Although with all that stuff I had going on I was having difficulty hearing everything and strings probably wouldn't have helped that (I'm just reasoning it with myself here because I didn't do it, I think you're totally right :P)

Thanks for the review again! I think I'm going to go review all your songs as well.. hehe.

I like this very much.

I like this loop alot. Now i don't want to insult you, but this sounds like a cross between depeche mode and something else. The good part is that you get to chose that something else :D

Great song, i like how you all laid it down. I didn't really like that sound you had at the intro. Putting that sound alone like this did not appeal to me very much but then with the rest of the instruments it fitted better.

This is definately making me want to check some more of your stuff. Good song and keep it up.

DavidOrr responds:

Yea... very harsh instrument- I agree with you there. I need some better sounds, luckly reason 3.0 will be in my hands as of January 31st!! Thanks for the review!

The end of my adventure?

You mean like game over? If not, i'd see this in a sad/dramatic situation, or maybe for rpg castles music. Wherever i'd see this music, it doesn't matter. This is good, that's what matters. Very calm melody.

Very nice song, keep it up.

Grumbleduke responds:

Though it wasn't credited as such, this music was used at the end of GreenCastle: Double Exodus, and seemed to work very nicely. Despite this, I did mean a "Game Over" type end, and GreenCastle proves there are other uses. Go play it (unsubtle ad).

Hi, i make music as a hobby. From time to time i should upload a song. The best way to support me is to buy my music on bandcamp, it would really make my day. Share your art, take care, see you later.
